Provide work-related services including assessment, job readiness training, and skills building for patients. Spend the majority of time in the community collaborating with employers and justice systems to secure and sustain meaningful employment for clients.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in the behavioral health or medical field. Must possess a valid AZ Driver's License, a clear motor vehicle record, and a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Employment Specialist provides work related services, including assessment, job readiness training and skills building with patients. This position is expected to spend at least 80% or more time in community working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation and the criminal justice system. Will also be required to utilize this time in the community to work with each client after employment is obtained to ensure ongoing supports are given to sustain active and meaningful employment.
