Perform age-appropriate patient assessments and establish plans of care with a focus on stroke and NPO patients. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and safety while documenting all care in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a valid Texas SLP or SLP-I license. Candidates must have experience with adult populations in acute care settings and hold a BCLS certification.

Here’s What You Need · Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology Required Or Other Post-Baccalaureate degree recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Required · SLP Experience with adult population, acute care hospital-based, inpatient setting. · SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Required Or SLP-I - Speech Language Pathology Intern Texas Speech Language Pathology Intern License Upon Hire Required SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Preferred And · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required. · Good verbal and written communication skills in English. · Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others. · Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.
