The APP serves as the program coordinator for the Early Pulmonary Cancer Detection Program, managing patient evaluation, treatment, and follow-up. Responsibilities include triaging candidates, coordinating care between settings, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a valid Maryland license, DEA, and CDS certifications. Prior experience in Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery, or acute care is preferred.

The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a trusted clinician and clinical resource, delivering high-quality care as the program coordinator for the Early Pulmonary Cancer Detection Program through comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment, education, and follow-up. Working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams, the APP oversees the program by identifying and triaging appropriate candidates, communicating with referring providers, and following patients through the process.
This role blends clinical autonomy with strong team support and offers meaningful involvement in quality improvement, patient experience, and care coordination initiatives.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. The pay range may also vary based on specialty if applicable. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
