Requires at least one year of experience working with youth and strong communication and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field and BHP or CRMA certification are preferred.

NFI North is currently looking for Relief Direct Care Counselors to work in our Summit View Program, located in Bangor, Maine. We have an immediate opening for Relief Residential Counselors/Behavioral Health Professionals in our Residential and In-home Treatment Program serving youth ages 10–20.
Relief Direct Care Counselors are needed to work with our participants and their families in our residential program. Residential Counselors are responsible for day to day operations including: maintaining a safe and supportive environment for participants, supervision of participants, crisis intervention, case management/advocacy and all related documentation. Behavioral Health Professionals provide instruction, support and assist families with challenges they may encounter within their own homes or in their communities.
One year working with youth. Current BHP or CRMA certification a plus! Strong organization and communication skills are necessary; ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelors Degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology or equivalent.
