The provider delivers nursing and medical services to individuals and families, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. They diagnose and manage acute and chronic health problems both autonomously and in collaboration with other professionals.
Candidates must hold a current Florida license as an APRN or PA, with APRNs requiring FNP or dual Adult Gerontology Primary Care & Pediatrics certification. At least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is required.
Job Summary The APRN or Physician Assistant provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital
Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. FNP or dual Adult Gerontology Primary Care & Pediatrics board certification required for APRNs. At least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required.
