Responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. Ensures all supplies are properly processed for hospital use.
Requires a High School Diploma and at least one year of experience in sterile processing. Must hold a certification as a Registered Central Service Technician, Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, or Surgical Technologist.
The Sterile Processing Tech, TS is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of instruments, equipment, and supplies.
