Registered Nurse (RN)/ MEDICAL SURGICAL ICU

Education

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. *
• RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

 Valid Ohio RN license  Current AHA BLS certification required at the time of hire.

Experience

• Previous hospital based RN experience is preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills: o Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor o Basic computer knowledge o Strong organization skills o Effective interpersonal and communication skills
