The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for pediatric patients with complex multi-system health issues. This includes managing sophisticated medication therapies and performing advanced monitoring using current technology.
Candidates must hold a MN Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification, with at least one year of experience or a pediatric internship for new graduates. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and pediatric cardiac experience are preferred.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. Provides complex care to pediatric patient/families Performs advanced monitoring using current technology. Manages sophisticated medication and infusion therapies Cares for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment. Bed capacity: 24 Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:4 Required Qualifications MN Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) 1+ years of RN Experience Will Consider New Grad with Internship/Capstone in Pediatrics
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or BAN Cardiac Pediatric Experience Preferred 1-3 years of experience

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting.
