Perform comprehensive nursing functions including assessment, planning, and implementation of care for pre- and post-operative patients. Maintain unit readiness, manage medications and equipment, and provide essential instructions to patients and their families.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, a current Oregon RN license, and BLS/CPR certifications. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience, with 2+ years specifically in critical care, PACU, or Medical Surgical Nursing.
Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing Current unencumbered State of Oregon license as a Registered Nurse Current CPR certification, ACLS or able to obtain ACLS within six (6) months of hire date Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete BLS certification within 90 days of hire 3+ years of experience with 2+ years of experience in critical care, PACU or Medical Surgical Nursing
Current PALS Knowledge of basic clinical skills to provide patient care Evidence of working knowledge of the nursing process Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of peri-operative nursing care in the freestanding ambulatory surgery unit Demonstrated knowledge of pre and post-operative equipment usage and troubleshooting of such Demonstrated flexibility and leadership with unscheduled procedure changes Proven ability to manage emergency situations in a calm and confident manner Proven ability to work well with providers, clinical staff and patients Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
