Responsible for monitoring a central bank of patient EKGs, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure, and communicating changes to RNs. Additionally assists as a Nursing Station Technician with patient hygiene, transport, and room maintenance.
Requires Basic Life Support and Basic ECG training/interpretation within 30 days of hire, or equivalent experience as an NST or nursing student. Preferred qualifications include formal health science education and ECG certification.
Completion of formal Medical Assistant, EMT, Nursing Assistant or other formal health science education program 1+ years related health care experience Formal ECG training ECG Certification Additional Requirements (must be obtained or completed within a period of time): Successful completion of Basic ECG interpretation class within 30 days of hire and annual ECG test
