Cardio Medical Assistant

• Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking Medical Assistant for our Clearwater location.
• We are dedicated to providing the highest quality cardiovascular care and are looking for an individual that is skilled, motivated and enjoys being part of an excellent team.
• Medical Assistants are primarily responsible for taking patients back to exam rooms and preparing them for their doctor’s visits.
• Responsibilities also include EKGs, BP checks and medication reconciliation.
• Other assignments include stocking rooms, scanning records, preparing/screening telehealth visits etc.
• We are looking for a team player that makes patients care about their priority with a positive outlook.

What you will be doing

• Record patient vital signs, height, weight, and BMI during visits.
• Assist with medical assessments and monitor patient
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system.
• Manage medication inventory and order supplies.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and safety regulations.
• Address patient concerns and relay messages to healthcare providers.
• Provide clear instructions on prescribed medications, treatments, and dietary plans.

What you bring to the table

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, but not necessary
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
