Your role Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Your day-to-day expectations Provide services via the Televero Telehealth platform, both live and offline Maintain a high quality of care consistent with the practice’s goals When not treating patients, assisting with, but not limited to, developing our behavioral health practice to include protocol development, training, and engaging in clinical behavioral health discussions with prospective clients Prescribe medications and close out medication tickets in a timely manner Take notes and assign billing codes within the EMR, including no-shows Closeout documentation within twenty-four hours of the patient encounter Review and interpret any patient assessments that we use in the practice Attend monthly peer, supervisory, and educational meetings Your workday This position is 100% virtual. We are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CST, Monday through Sunday. This position is part-time from 16 up to 32 hours of patient time per week. We will work with you to ensure a flexible schedule. This role reports to Televero's Director of Nursing and a Pod Leader (Supervisory MD). Experience to thrive Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field. Completion of CCNE-accredited Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialization. Active PMHNP License in Texas and/or Washington. Minimum 2 years' experience. Two or more years of Telehealth experience. Two or more years of Outpatient experience. Two or more years of Prescribing experience. Experience treating pediatric patients is preferred. Foundations for success Experience with neuro-developmental disorders. Experience diagnosing Autism and conducting evaluations. Responsive, strong communication both written and verbally. A culturally aware and inclusive mindset in every interaction. Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach Effective time management and organization in a virtual environment. Reliable internet connection and confident navigating technology – including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Teams). EMR experience and ability to navigate evolving systems.
