SSVF Case Manager

• Serves as primary representative of the Agency with respect to third party vendors providing training-related products and services
• Utilizes the Relias Learning Management System to maintain compliance with all required training courses

Knowledge, skills and abilities

This position requires knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to

• Bachelor’s degree level is required
• 1 year case management experience working with individuals that are rapid-rehousing and homeless prevention.
• Demonstrates wiliness to be responsive to the needs of the target population
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to function as part of a team
• All candidates must be able to handle a flexible work environment and have strong decision-making skills.

Travel to other locations as appropriate in the performance of duties and responsibilities.

Must have

• Current driver’s license issued by state of residence
• Current Vehicle Inspection decal
• Current vehicle insurance
• Current vehicle registration in state of residence
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
• It requires the incumbent to have a valid Louisiana Driver’s license and be insurable under the VOA/GNO, Inc.’s vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass a criminal history investigation, and be able to obtain Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, First Aid certifications.

Physical requirements

• Primarily performs duties in the community however some duties will be performed while seated at desk. Incumbent needs manual dexterity in using a personal computer keyboard. May have to lift, bend, and stoop in performing filing and similar tasks. • Works in a normal office environment interacting with staff, candidates, and outside vendors. May be subjected to multiple interruptions throughout the workday.

• The employee is occasionally required to lift to 25 pounds when preparing/transferring training materials and equipment.
