Job Duties

• 1.
• Electronic scanning of referral records into Papervision when received from Intake staff.
• 2.
• Addresses envelopes for release of information requests, billing statements, and letters on a daily basis.
• 3.
• Double checks scanned records in Papervision to verify accuracy on an as needed basis.
• 4.
• Updates demographics in AVATAR when mail is returned with an undeliverable address.
• 5.
• Regularly maintains volume of Intake packets by copying and printing Agency forms.
• 6.
• Adheres strictly to rules of discretion, tact, and confidentiality regarding handling client information.
• 7.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 8.
• Accomplishes individual goals.

Education: Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions; write legibly and file accurately.

Licensure

• N/A
• Experience: in an office setting Must be 21 years of age. Negative Drug Screening prior to hire and throughout employment. Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver’s License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance. (must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character).
• Working
• Conditions: Indoor, windowless environment for maintenance of confidentiality. Ability to combine speed and accuracy a must. Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Computer
• Literate: Ability to use and retrieve, input, and access information from EHR, and Document Management System. Must have working knowledge of copy machine, Fax/Medi-Fax.
