Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and review medical history Teach patients about the anesthesia process and answer their questions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in anesthesia care Document anesthesia care and patient responses accurately Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing with CRNA certification A current and valid state nursing license Experience in providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to best practices

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Will cover multiple facilities

Cases: Orthopedics, spines, robotic surgery, ENT, GYN, ophthalmology, urology, plastics, and podiatry

No trauma, hearts, or neuro

Will not place blocks, epidurals, or spinals

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
