How you'll contribute
- Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
- Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.
- Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
- Passes instruments to physician during surgery.
- Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
- Performs on call services as requested.
- Actively participates and ensures room turnovers are efficient and timely.
- Assesses surgical schedule in coordination with RN's and management to ensure patient needs are met and all necessary equipment/ supplies are available.
- Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students.
- Participates and attends meetings as required and/ or assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

- Surgical technician and service line sign off
- Certifications: None required; BCLS preferred.
