The RN is responsible for delivering care that promotes the safety and well-being of patients requiring chronic medical and palliative care. This includes managing patients with acute chronic diseases such as COPD and heart failure, as well as those facing end-of-life care.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. Candidates must have at least one year of clinical nurse experience or completion of an RN residency program.

Weekend and holiday requirements Department highlights: · Patients are admitted to this 16 bed unit for chronic medical and palliative care. The patient population consist of patients with multiple acute chronic diseases requiring aggressive treatment such as Copd, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Infectious Diseases as well as those facing end of life care. · Flexible Self Scheduling. · This unit is known for it’s teamwork and collaboration.
