• East Lansing, MI 48823 On-site Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose & Throat East Lansing, Michigan, United States Full Time (40 hours) Medical Assistant needed to work in our Mid-Michigan Allergy office for a growing medical practice.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Escort patients to and from exam room · Interview patients for current and past medical history, verify medica · Assist physician with examination and treatment of patient's care · Preparation and administration of injections and performing allergy skin tests. · Educate patient and family regarding patient's care · Answer phone calls and retrieve messages from patients and other medical professionals · Insurance prior authorizations for medications and procedures · Properly document data into paper chart for office visits and testing · Audit daily schedule for patients seen and testing performed for accuracy · Review and follow up on patient testing · Stock and prepare patient exam rooms

Requirements

- High school diploma / equivalency - 6 months medical assistant experience - Allergy experience a plus but not required - MA certification a plus
