The Research Coordinator supports the design, implementation, and analysis of ophthalmic clinical research studies. Key duties include developing protocols, collecting data, and serving as a liaison and counselor for study patients.
A bachelor's degree is preferred, or over 3 years of relative experience. Candidates must possess strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
The Research Coordinator supports the Director of Clinical Research and Physicians in the design, implementation, and analysis of ophthalmic clinical research studies. This position assists in developing research protocols, conducting data collection and analysis, and interpreting results. They serve as a patient counselor to ensure clear and consistent information is provided.
Work Relationship and Scope The Research Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Clinical Research as well as other participating physicians.
Work Conditions This position is part of the Research team at 800 N. First Street, Wausau, WI. Hours of work depend on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
