Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and clinical assessment for patients across outpatient specialties, including Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain, Primary Care, Rheumatology, Afterhours Care, and Snowmass Clinic
• Float between clinics as needed, delivering consistent, patient-centered care under minimal supervision
• Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations following physician orders
• Document care and interventions in the electronic medical record; coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-visit instructions
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and high-altitude working protocols; collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Unrestricted RN license to practice in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years PCU/ICU/CCU experience or 2 years ED experience preferred
• Emergency Nurses Association – Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• EPIC experience preferred; Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Ability to work across outpatient clinics in a high-altitude setting (approximately 8,000 feet) and to float between clinics as needed
• RTO (time off) not accepted for this assignment
