Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team in Plymouth, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in client homes.
• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and assisting with mobility.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Must pass background checks and have valid identification.
• Flexible availability to meet client needs.
