Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Troy, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
• Help with light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client condition and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Compassionate, patient, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation plus.
• Ability to pass background check.
