The Registered Nurse coordinates and performs direct nursing care for outpatient infusion patients, including those receiving chemotherapy. They serve as a clinical resource and mentor while managing patient assessments, care plans, and regulatory compliance.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, current Illinois RN licensure, and active AHA BLS certification. One year of outpatient infusion or oncology experience and proficiency in venous access devices are strongly preferred.

The Infusion Nurse functions as an interactive resource in clinical nursing and professional practice. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordinating of and performing direct nursing care for patients, utilizing concepts of the nursing process. Serves as resource, preceptor, mentor, and leader for physicians, professional peers and other fellow employees.
• Completion of ONS Chemo-Biotherapy Course within 12 months, unless holds current ONS or INS certification.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
