Coordinate and perform direct respiratory care for patients across all age groups from neonatal to adult. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to implement respiratory care procedures and serve as a mentor for other healthcare professionals.
Requires completion of an AMA approved RRT program and BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Candidates must obtain the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC within six months of hire.

Under the direction of the Director and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care Services, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the coordination of and performing direct respiratory care for patients, utilizing concepts of respiratory care practices for all patient age groups of neonatal through adult as specified by respiratory care policy and procedures. They will serve as a resource, preceptor, and mentor for other health care professionals. They will demonstrate skills and the knowledge necessary to provide respiratory care procedures.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
