The LVN/LPN is responsible for delivering quality nursing care by implementing and following patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and RNs. Key duties include monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and assisting with the overall functioning of the nursing unit.
Candidates must hold a current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license and a current BLS certification. Three to six months of experience in a nursing environment is preferred.

Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. In collaboration with the physician, and the supervising RN, the LVN/LPN assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follows up of the plan of care for the patient population.
