RN - Specialized Services - Casual Status - PET Scanner

• This is a casual status also known as Per Diem RN position.
• The schedule varies 7 days per week with a 8 hour shift.
• We are looking for availability of at least 4 shifts per month.
• The training schedule would ideally be close to full time hours.

• Join Scripps as RN, Specialized Services – PET Scanner department where you will perform stress tests at our center.
• Additionally, you will: Perform patient assessments and care tasks, procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and documents patient interactions.
• Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required

• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN Current California RN License American Heart Association BLS for the Health Care Provider Must have rapid patient assessment skills and critical thinking skills Must be patient centered, flexible and team oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Preferred: Prior outpatient experience with PET Scanning, Stress Testing and/or Cardiac Imaging BSN
