The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting providers with clinical procedures and protocols. They also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, documenting patient care in EPIC, and managing referrals.
Candidates must have completed a formal Medical Assistant program, hold a certification, or have at least two years of experience as a military corpsman. A BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is required.
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Experience/Skills/Qualifications: MA experience in an outpatient setting, preferably Primary Care or Internal Medicine Detail oriented Experience administering vaccines New grads welcome to apply!
