Perform comprehensive diagnostic and treatment procedures in the Sleep Lab, including polysomnography and PAP therapy titration. Analyze and score sleep data according to AASM standards while providing education and care to pediatric and adult patients.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a sleep education program, and at least one year of experience as a polysomnographic technician. Must hold active RPSGT and BLS certifications.
Basic computer skills. Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare. Possess adequate time management skills. Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers.
