About the role

The RN will coordinate patient care, perform clinical assessments, and provide nursing support throughout the pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery phases. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Registered Nurse (Clinical) Full-Time | $40-$45/hr Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30
  • PM &
  • Friday 8AM-12PM
  • Location: Fayetteville, GA 30214

The Opportunity We're seeking a Registered Nurse to support patients throughout their procedural and recovery experience while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you'll help coordinate patient care, perform clinical assessments, monitor treatment progress, and contribute to a safe, efficient clinical environment focused on outstanding patient outcomes.

What You'll Do Patient Care & Clinical Coordination

Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Evaluate patient conditions and promptly communicate significant findings to providers and care teams.

Assist with developing, implementing, and updating individualized patient care plans.

Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff to support treatment goals.

Procedural & Recovery Support

Provide nursing care throughout pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery phases.

Monitor patient status, responses to treatment, and overall progress throughout the care continuum.

Document observations and patient outcomes according to established standards.

Team Support & Professional Practice

Provide guidance and oversight to support staff while promoting adherence to clinical protocols.

Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Maintain compliance with facility policies, ethical standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred.
  • Pain Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Athena EHR preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification preferred.
  • Skills & Physical Requirements
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and nursing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 300 pounds.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and fine motor coordination required.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Pain Management, or with Athena EHR is preferred.
