Responsible for total nursing care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation for assigned patients. Manages discharge planning and provides education to patients and families to ensure continuity of care.
Must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing school and hold a current Texas Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS, TNCC, and PALS to be obtained within six months of hire.
Description Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. Plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching, and educates patients, family, or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care. Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
