The Opportunity Up to $50k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. ACLS and BLS required for non-Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Current IN state license is a plus. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. The Practice Henry Community Health – New Castle, Indiana 65-bed hospital with an annual volume of 21,500. 13 primary beds in the Emergency Department plus 3 fast track beds. 13%25 admit rate; 7%25 peds. Cerner EMR. Sub-specialty backup includes surgery, OB/GYN, peds, cardiology, ortho, and urology. Good patient mix, collegial staff, good relationships with ancillary staff, and responsive local administration. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
