The intern provides clinical and administrative support within an outpatient therapy setting, including patient transport and equipment management. They collaborate with leadership to improve healthcare delivery while gaining first-hand experience in clinical operations.
Candidates must be high school students enrolled in a pre-approved Sanford clinical internship program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic knowledge of the healthcare industry are helpful.

Works collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assists in a clinical setting, based on assigned department/team with delegated responsibilities. Complies with all patient safety related duties assigned. Dependent on setting, may be asked to provide assistance in providing customer service to meet basic patient needs and related activities. Assists staff with transporting patients, providing supplies and equipment, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in work environment. Assists in the completion of projects and administrative duties delegated, while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attends training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization. Qualifications Part of a pre-approved Sanford clinical internship program as a high school student. Knowledge of healthcare industry helpful. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
