Provides professional nursing care for high-acuity emergencies in a Level IV Trauma ED. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines to deliver time-critical interventions for diverse patient populations.
Requires a nursing diploma or associate degree, with a BSN preferred. Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Night Shift: 7p-7a
Saturday and Sunday

An 18-bed Level IV Trauma ED and designated Acute Stroke and STEMI center, managing high-acuity emergencies with rapid diagnostics and multidisciplinary collaboration. Gettysburg ED delivers high-quality and time‑critical interventions for diverse patient populations.
Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
