Nursing Assistant F/T Day Endocrinology

• Job Summary Maintains flow of patients through treatment areas.
• Ensures exam room preparation for patient treatment.
• Performs limited specimen collection and laboratory testing under supervision.
• Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health.

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
• Escorts patients/guardians to exam rooms.
• Cleans exam rooms between patient visits to ensure preparedness for incoming patients.
• Maintains supply inventory in each exam room.
• Requisitions the purchase of replacement stock as requested.
• Obtains patients' temperature, height, weight and vitals, as requested.
• Performs selected specimen collection and laboratory analysis, as indicated.
• Utilizes autoclave to sterilize medical instruments.
• Assembles admission information packets for distribution to patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
• Minimum Requirements Education - High School diploma.
• Experience - One (1) year experience preferred In Lieu Of NA Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses Certified Nursing Assistant - Preferred
