Position Summary

• MultiCare Health System is seeking a Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Practicing within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited comprehensive cancer program, you’ll play a vital role in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team..Responsibilities
• Provides specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including administering systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents.
• Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms.
• Coordinate care across disciplines, and support patients through education, counseling, and survivorship planning.
• Work alongside oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Offer clear guidance on follow up care, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to support informed decision-making.
• Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Stay current with oncology best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current ARNP certification and licensure in Washington State
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $171,000.00 - $181,800.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
