The Clinical Pharmacist will design and monitor patient-specific therapeutic regimens and provide comprehensive medication management within primary care clinics. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, verifying prescriptions, and leading system-wide health initiatives.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be licensed as a pharmacist in both Kansas and Missouri, including MTS certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and 3-5 years of applicable experience are required.
BJC/Saint Luke’s Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support our primary care clinics in Independence and Blue Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive medication management and contributing your expertise to Saint Luke’s Population Health initiatives. Key Responsibilities Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Clinical Management: Design, monitor, and adjust patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal outcomes. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside physicians and clinic staff to clarify orders and document interventions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Medication Oversight: Prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and regulatory compliance. Patient Education: Provide routine counseling on drug information, side effects, and adherence to patients and caregivers. Professional Leadership: Supervise supportive personnel, manage departmental projects, and lead system-wide health initiatives. Required Qualifications & Schedule: Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required) Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification - Missouri Division of Professional Registration Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross Job Requirements Applicable Experience: 3-5 years Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Pharmacist - Various Bachelor's Degree Job Details Full Time Day (United States of America) The best place to get care.
