Perform a variety of diagnostic medical sonograms, including abdominal and OB/Gynecology examinations, using complex ultrasound equipment. Ensure high-quality patient care, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Requires graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program or ARDMS certification, with specific certifications in Abdomen and OB-Gyn. Minimum of one year of experience in a major medical center is required, with two years preferred.
Under indirect supervision, performs a variety of diagnostic medical sonograms (such as abdominal and OB/Gynecology ultrasound examinations) utilizing complex ultrasound equipment and transducers.
Two (2) years experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a major medical center. Experience with Acuson Sequoia, Philips iu-22 and Clickview ultrasound reporting package.
May rotate to all current and future locations within the San Diego service area based on operational needs. Shifts and hours may vary based on operational needs.
