Perform a range of general and trauma surgical procedures while providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage ED and inpatient coverage in a Level III Trauma Center.
Requires an MD or DO degree, board certification, and an active medical license. Candidates must hold ATLS and BLS certifications and possess associate-level experience in general surgery.

As a Locum General Surgeon, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive surgical services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Your role will involve working closely with a skilled team to address a variety of surgical needs, enhancing patient outcomes through effective interventions and follow-ups.
Perform a range of surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care Conduct patient consultations to assess surgical needs Document all patient interactions accurately and timely Stay updated on surgical best practices and technological advancements Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and treatment strategies Foster a positive and professional relationship with patients and their families
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution Associate-level experience in General Surgery Active medical license in the state of practice Strong surgical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adept at working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing patient-centered care Emergency response and critical care experience is a plus
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts specific dates
Provide ED and inpatient coverage, address practice-related clinical needs, and perform trauma and general surgery procedures

EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
ATLS & BLS required
