The ideal candidate will: Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Have at least one year of Med Tech experience Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
