Prepares and maintains the sterile environment and equipment in the operating room for surgical procedures. Assists with patient positioning, draping, and manages intraoperative counts of instruments and specimens.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license where applicable. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Currently enrolled in high school, in process of completing a GED, or has obtained high school diploma or GED; Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement.
