Clerk II Primary Function: To ensure that documents are properly prepared for scanning and to organize charts in date order to scan. Additional responsibilities include chart retrieval, death log, front desk duties, loose reports, indexing, data entry, fetal strip, and answer fax request. Education/Training/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous clerical experience required, Health Information Management preferred Ability to follow both written and verbal directions. Knowledge and experience working with software applications, specifically Microsoft Windows required. Licenses/Certifications: N/A Physical Demand Analysis: Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods, standing, walking, bending, reaching, use of a step stool, ability to carry armloads of charts and push carts loaded with records, good hand and arm dexterity for using the computer keyboard and mouse. Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversations and telephone communication Working Conditions: Office setting.
