Salary
$30 - $40 / HOUR
Collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients using appropriate venipuncture methods. Ensure samples are correctly labeled and prioritized based on urgency for testing.
Requires previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician with a preference for a phlebotomy diploma. Must be familiar with legal requirements for blood draws and possess strong computer skills.

In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency Collect patients’ personal information Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood Correctly label samples and send them for testing
Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician Phlebotomy diploma preferred Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples Strong computer and data entry skills
