The APP provides clinical assessment, symptom management, and survivorship care for oncology patients receiving radiation therapy. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive cancer care and maintain accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active Maryland licensure and DEA/CDS certifications. Prior experience in medical or radiation oncology is preferred.
Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Radiation Oncology team within a physician-led, community-focused health system.
This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside experienced radiation oncologists, oncology nurses, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and support staff dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care close to home.
The Radiation Oncology APP will play a key role in the multidisciplinary management of oncology patients receiving radiation therapy. The APP will work closely with the radiation oncologist to provide clinical assessment, symptom management, survivorship care, patient education, and coordination of care throughout the treatment continuum.
This position offers an outpatient practice with a predictable schedule and the opportunity to develop meaningful long-term relationships with patients and families during their cancer journey.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. The pay range may also vary based on specialty if applicable. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
