The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state.   • May research, compose, design, or edit agency publications such as brochures, forms, and manuals.
  • Ability to compile and edit data for charts, graphs, and databases, and prepares summaries or reports.
  • May develop training materials.
  • Serves as back up to the Director and Assistant Director of Administration’s Administrative Assistants, and provides assistance as needed to the Director of Residential Services.
  • Manages and maintains schedule and travel arrangements for Assistant Director of Programs.
  • May train others.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation.
    • Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
    • Skill in standard office equipment and software.
    • Ability to implement administrative procedures; to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, in person and over the phone.
    • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Registrations, Licensure Requirements or Certifications: None Initial Screening Criteria: Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent, plus 2 years’ experience working for senior level management in an administrative support position.
    • Attention to detail as demonstrated by completeness of the state application.
    • Experience in the use of standard office equipment (personal computer, printer, telephone, fax, copier).
    • Experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
