The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Programs of the Austin State Supported Living Center, the Administrative Assistant performs complex (journey-level) administrative support or technical program assistance work. Work involves disseminating information, maintaining filing systems, and performing internal administrative support work. May train others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Maintains excellent communication with internal and external agencies, including State Office. Essential Job Functions (EJFs):
