Perform complex diagnostic radioactive isotope examinations and therapeutic procedures while ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety and NRC standards. Manage equipment calibration, maintain isotope logs, and provide compassionate care and instructions to patients.
Requires a high school diploma and graduation from accredited programs in both radiologic technology and nuclear medicine. Must hold certification from the ARRT or CNMT, with one to two years of experience preferred.
