The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The role ensures patient safety by complying with ALARA and all regulatory requirements.
Requires completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine program, an IEMA License, and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB registry. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory, and one year of experience is preferred.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs under the direction of the radiologist, nuclear medicine procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Complies with ALARA and all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care for the patient.
