The Clinical Social Worker provides expert assessment, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for patients and families within inpatient and ambulatory settings. They collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and participate in teaching, mentoring, and specialized task forces.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work and a valid LCSW (Connecticut) or LICSW (Rhode Island) license. Required experience includes 3,000 post-masters hours and 100 hours of clinical supervision for Connecticut licensure.

Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
For Connecticut, consistent with LCSW licensure requirements, 3,000 hours of post-masters social work experience and 100 hours of post-masters clinical supervision. For Rhode Island, consistent with LICSW licensure requirements, 24 months of experience licensed as a licensed clinical social worker under appropriate supervision.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or State of Rhode Island license requirements
