Provide optimal nutritional care for bariatric surgery patients by assessing nutritional status and designing evidence-based care plans. Monitor patient responses to interventions and provide Medical Nutrition Therapy instruction to patients and families.
Requires registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and state licensure as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN). A minimum of one year of experience as a dietitian, preferably in a healthcare environment, is required.

Maintenance of registration and licensure required as per guidelines. Position requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a dietitian, preferably in a healthcare environment. Work requires the analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, synthesize a Pro problem list and to devise/implement intervention. Work requires effective verbal and written communication skill, which may include explaining clinical, technical concepts to physicians, other health care team members, patients, and their families. Enforces policies and regulations in difficult situations or preforms other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills. Allergen Awareness training/certificate an Serv Safe Management training/certificate preferred. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
