Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Home Care Caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client in the Oshkosh area. Experience working with individuals with Down syndrome is strongly preferred, and candidates with backgrounds supporting developmental or intellectual disabilities are encouraged to apply.

As a Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide personalized one-on-one support that promotes confidence, independence, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities: may include:
Building a positive, trusting relationship with the client Encouraging independence while providing appropriate support Assisting with personal care and daily living activities Supporting routines, hobbies, recreational activities, and community engagement Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping Providing transportation and accompaniment to appointments and outings as needed Creating a structured, safe, and encouraging environment Monitoring the client's well-being and communicating updates with the care team Delivering compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care
Experience supporting individuals with Down syndrome is strongly preferred Experience working with developmental or intellectual disabilities is highly valued Previous caregiving experience preferred Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license required Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance Ability to pass a background check Build a Career with Purpose
