Mileage Reimbursement Are you compassionate, energetic, and passionate about making a difference in someone's life? We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to support an adult male with special needs in both his home and the community.

• 1
• In-Home support and 2:1 support while in community, to a young adult with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, and confident supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs while helping promote independence, community involvement, and meaningful daily experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with special needs is required.
• Experience working with non-verbal individuals is highly preferred.
• Experience responding to self-injurious behaviors and implementing support strategies is required.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional during challenging situations.
• Must be comfortable performing approved behavioral intervention holds when necessary and appropriately trained.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Outgoing, responsible, and committed to helping others thrive. Schedule
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, two days per week
• 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, three days per week
• Every other weekend required Compensation
• IHCS Rate (No Certification): $25.10/hour
• Enhanced IHCS Rate (Degree or Certification): $32.12/hour Don't have a degree or certification? Qualified applicants may be eligible to obtain their NADD Certification, if interested.
